I am frustrated to keep seeing women's profiles demanding his income be higher than hers.
(Combined with affirmative action and the customary demand that he subsidize her dating, this is infuriating.)
I think one also needs to consider a person's environmental background and upbringing.
I was raised in So Cal (blah!) with my parents' mid-western values. They have been married over 44 years, yet, my dad holds my mother and her opinions in high regard, despite the "taditional roles" they carried. It's a very fine line.
