That reminded me...
When I was a teenager, my grandparents had twin beds. I always thought that was terribly unromantic and told my mom so. She explained that it wasn't quite as bad as it looked.
She told me that every night, my grandpa would lay in bed and toss his hat to my grandma. Some nights my grandma would toss it back, but some nights she would bring it back.
Weird to think of your grandparents that way, but still kind of romantic.
