Too bad that you Americans can't go to Cuba. It is inexpensive, a great place-beautiful beaches and the people are so friendly.

Try the Barbados . Go to the south area around St Lawrence Gap or Rockley beach area . They have lots of great spots to choose from and you can get some great efficiency apts right near or on the beach. Also there are some all inclusive places. Language is english .
