It's my opinion that most men list as desirable qualities, the opposite of all of the undesirable qualities of their last relationship. When you get to his MHCS's, you can practically see what kind of woman his last one was based on the can't stands.
I only say "most men" because I only see men's profiles--But I am guilty of the same thing, which I only realized quite some time later. It's an unconscious thing.
If we have been with someone who has lied and cheated, it's only natural to desire honesty.
This is only my opinion of course, and it is interesting that so many use that as their answer, I agree, I also bet that most women have something similar as their answer.
On the other hand, honesty is something that we as human beings need in a mate for our own sense of security. We've all been hurt in some way or another, at some time in our lives and naturally want to avoid that.
