Compassion is a great thing, and we need more of it. Wanting to see children receive nourishment isn't just about feeling good about yourself by giving "free stuff". People who are starving are more likely to commit crimes. I'm not sure how it's expected that these children go and get jobs, when it is quite evident you don't even believe there are jobs available for adults. If you want to speak of reason, then use reason.
What reason have you used,certainly no economic reasoning,...here is your reasoning...it feels good to feel good about feeling good..so i will choose to feel good rather than give any consideration to what the real problem is.The country is bankrupt,but the credit card generation can't grasp that concept and won't until it all collapses on top of them.
