I was told by an eHarmony rep that using the "find matches" button actually reduces your chances of being matched, because it overrides the system's 24 hour search, and the system is often times not likely to do a thorough matching process in the minute or so that it takes to do the "find matches" search.
I doubt that. I never hit the button and my matches SUCK...There is no way someone is doing a thorough matching process and think these men are a good match for me..if so, they should be fired..I mean they have become so pathetic I only read the profiles to get a good laugh.
