eHarmony Labs and the Oxford Internet Institute conducted a survey between couples among 16 Western European countries in the area of relationship adjustment and satisfaction. Initial results regarding relationship satisfaction (as well as four subscales of satisfaction) of 16,573 people reveal that the Happiest Couple Award goes to…the Netherlands! The image below depicts each country’s ranking by satisfaction score* (the closer to dark red, the higher the satisfaction ranking – countries in white were not measured). However, couples from the Netherlands had the highest relative satisfaction and the greatest number significant differences compared to the remaining countries.
