Below, you'll have an opportunity to give us your tips for dating in Boston, so let us know what you think!

Recently, Boston has been ranked among the best cities in the nation for singles. Boasting the finest in culinary and cultural attractions, Boston has a lot to offer those looking to meet someone special.

1) The Neighborhoods

Boston is “a big little town.” Each neighborhood reflects the culture of the community. For a taste of Italy, stroll down Hanover Street and visit Mike’s Pastry for fresh cannoli. Be greeted by cheery Irish accents at Kitty O’Shea’s and Ned Divine’s located at Faneuil Hall, or experience a hodgepodge of traditions in Jamaica Plain.

2) Downtown

If you work downtown, trains will get you where you need to go. Most likely your office will be located in the Financial District or the Back Bay. From State Street to Commonwealth Avenue, skyscrapers rise above restaurants, gyms and enough high-end boutiques to get a girl in trouble! “Hmmm, may I buy that Hermes scarf for you, Miss?” After 5 p.m., you’ll find local pubs buzzing with the after-work crowd who frequent places like the hip Revolution Rock Bar and the ultramodern Radius. Maybe the elegant and woody Mission Bar is where your date will be waiting to escort you to the Opera House to see an award-winning play.

3) Food and Nightlife

Boston’s Phantom Gourmet keeps everyone plugged in to the best deals in town. Enjoy the fresh fish at Legal Seafood or the international offerings at Sonsie. For romantic dinners, the ambiance at Assaggio is perfetto! In Kenmore Square, nightclubs such as Avalon, Beer Works, Bill’s Bar, and Tequila Rain rock after 10 p.m. You can also mingle with the singles at the Sugar Shack and the Big Easy, or enjoy a martini at Aria, an upscale bar where a slightly older crowd gathers.

4) Sports

The easiest pick-up line in Boston today is “How ’bout those Celtics?” To break the ice, start talking about the Patriots or the Red Sox (or how much you hate the Yankees) — it’s that simple! Boston’s a sports-crazed city, so pick a jersey and get out there!

5) Relaxation and Fun

You can unwind by people watching in Boston Common. Strike up a conversation while sunbathing on a blanket or gliding in a swan boat on Frog Pond. And don’t be surprised to hear the clippity-clop of hooves as a horse-drawn carriage goes by. Now, what girl could turn down a romantic carriage ride?

6) The Harbor

For exercise buffs, jog or bike around the Charles River, or join the sailboats or rowing crews as they depart from the Boathouse. In the evening, enjoy a view of the skyline while dancing to great music on a “booze cruise” on a Boston Harbor Cruise Ship. On a beautiful summer night, there’s nothing better!

7) The History

For singles with children, visit the Paul Revere House or walk the Freedom Trail, where tours are conducted by guides dressed in period costumes! The Museum of Science and the Children’s Museum are also entertaining, but the New England Aquarium draws the crowds with its giant shark tank. For some unusual fun, take a Duck Tour. People of all ages ride in WWII-style amphibious landing vehicles to many points of interest by land and sea, and quack like ducks when prompted by the locals!

8) Trendy & Spend-y

Designer clothing from Lucky Brand and Rocawear jeans to Brooks Brothers suits and BCBG dresses can be seen all over town. When visiting elite boutiques like Chanel and Gretta Luxe though, it’s best to take a taxi because pahhhking in Boston is, well…forget about it. After all, you don’t want to scuff those Jimmy Choos!

9) Weather-Wise

Season changes here keep things interesting. Summer temperatures can reach 100 and winter can get as cold as 10 degrees, but spring is when people come out of hibernation, eager to reconnect. Autumn is also quite beautiful. Just wrap yourself in a warm sweater, grab a date and walk amid the colorful foliage!

10) Celeb Sightings

Boston is fast becoming the Hollywood of the East Coast! My sources tell me that Plymouth Rock Studios will expand this already budding industry. You may even meet your future spouse while watching Kate Hudson shoot a scene!

Don't forget the Museum of FinE Arts on Huntington Ave . They are in the middle of a multi million dollar renovation and will be opening the new Huntington Ave entrance this spring. They have a free admission one night a week. Also on Huntington ave is the famous Symphony Hall home of the world famous BSO and not to be forgotten also just as famous The Boston POPs.
