| Interests: | Music, baking, dancing (better at watching), reading, EH closing the "no-communication." Walking, watching videos, swimming, snowtubing, Maroon 5 concert on the mountain. Former kids soccer U5, U10 coach. Now I am content to visit interesting historical and or cultural spots and enjoy new looks at my world. I discovered I can do balloon sculpting, some refinishing, and drawing. ======================================= I am interested in quiet and active things, but am just now able to explore these without kids. Music: Music has always been a joy . I like a large variety of music, but not rap or heavy metal. I made a huge list and pared it down: Carole King; Carly Simon; Brooklyn Bridge; Southern Comfort; old Neil Diamond, Crosby, Stills Nash & Young; Seals and Croft, John Denver, Roger Whitaker (especially "The Last Farewell";) Jefferson Starship; Simon & Garfunkle; Kenny Rogers, Elton John, Stevie Wonder; Chicago, The Spinners, James Taylor. There are more I have forgotten, I'm sure. Later music, John Maher, Plain White Tees, Sara Bareilles, Maroon Five, James Blunt; and some country, lately. TV Shows: News and weather channels, Dirty Jobs, Junkyard Wars, Mythbusters, Dancing with the Stars, some Discovery Channel, History channel, TLC like John and Kate Plus 8 and What Not to Wear; Chick flicks. Movies: Angus, October Sky, The Sting, Merlin, First Knight, Most King Arthur stuff, The Natural, On Golden Pond, Flight of the Navigator, Sleepless in Seattle and the corresponding original- Affair to Remember (with Cary Grant. )Spy thrillers, Three Men and a Baby, and other chick flicks my daughters throw on when they're here.
