Music: ... addicted to 'sounds' that tickle the ear and brain. Have been since DAY ONE. TV Shows: Don't watch much tv, rather limited reception here, ie. 5 channels. Lived without television altogether aged 30-40, by choice. As a result, still enjoy many of the OLDER shows now off the air, like 'I Love Lucy', etc. Currently, I watch only one program -religiously - a British 'soap' - 'Coronation Street'. A cast of over 70, I've been hooked now for 5 years ... such great writing, accents (see 'sounds' above), and well shaped 'characters': all flawed, all 'natural', tragic and comic all together. Movies: 'Out of Africa' & 'The Sound of Music' pop to mind as two 'stand-out favourites. Corny, but true. Overall,, my movie interests & selections are EXTREMELY diverse. As example, recently saw 'City of God', about Brazilian slums ... the add-on documentary was JUST as interesting as the film itself. Watch DVD's frequently, pick up titles I know NOTHING about, and 'score' as I go, on a scale of 1-10. Very wide-ranging, eclectic, world oriented, historical, contemporary. The only thing that's never really turned my crank is Sci Fi. Books: This 'pile' gets churned regularly. More About Me: ... ask -
