Music: Blues,Hendrix,Doors,Janis Joplin,Stones,Wooden Shjips,lots of late 60s/early 70s rock, some World Music,Funk,some jazz,some of almost everything except opera. TV Shows: Carnivale (only saw 1st season) was GREAT.Really don't watch much TV.(I also liked the Sopranos and Deadwood.)I'm much more likely to watch something on DVD.... Movies: The Big Lebowski,V is for Vendetta,Slingblade,Instinct,House of 1000 Corpses,Black & White classics(eg."You can't take it with you" with Lionel Barrymore,"Night Tide" with Dennis Hopper),cheesy old"B' movies (ie."Werewolves on Wheels"). Books: Authors:Tom Robbins: especially his first 4 or 5 Novels,Robert Anton Wilson:"Schroedingers Cat",lots of Mythology (not the Greek stuff,particularly),Kerouac,and "The Televisionary Oracle" . More About Me: Well,I'm not into TV or Spectator Sports,and I loathe consumer culture,materialism and malls.I like natural,unspoiled surroundings,free thinkers and women who are confident enough NOT to wear make up.I truly admire those self-sufficient mavericks who are able to live Off The Grid. -
