My Favorites
Music: folk, world rhythms, ecletic, anything that has meaning in the match of tempo, rhythms, melody, harmony with the meaning of the words or composers theme. Movies: The Last Unicorn, Willow, LadyHawke, Princess Bride, What Women Want, Stepmom, Project X, Hearts and Souls, A Mirror has Two Faces, Romancing the Stone, Oliver, Sound of Music, Ever After, Never Was, history flicks and human interest stories Books: presently, favourite authors are Henri Nouwen and Parker Palmer. Reading Palmer's Let Your Life Speak at the moment and finding it very affirming. I also like reading fantasy fiction, poetry, psychology of personal wellbeing and relationships, craft books, about the natural world around us and historical novels Quotes: Live the questions, Let your life speak, by living with the contradictions in life we may live our way into greater truths. More About Me: I am a casual person continually learning to take life as it come and enjoy it day to day. Through my involvment with those of you here, I have found some healing from past relationships and am beginning to look toward the journey of beginning opening myself to new relationships that may lead to something more. I spend a lot of my time exploring music, concepts and learning French for my teaching position which I love. I am intrigued with learning new skills and knowledge but also enjoying a good relaxing read. Personal goals include developing better health habits in eating and exercise to help me further enjoy life. My kids are young adults and I enjoy seeing the way they are progressing in life. I am able to be quite content doing activities with only my own company but know that other people add richness to life. Many of you are to be thanked for helping me open up to my life out here in the world I live in. Thank you for your part in my life. -
