Interesting question in "more about me." "All our good works are like filthy rags," Isaiah wrote. Many verses about how we are all sinners and need the grace of God. We ARE sinners. That is our nature, it is not something that we became at a certain time. God knows this, as He knows all things and He has given us full atonement for our sins. As Paul wrote, we will keep on sinning even if we want to do good. The mind is willing but the body is weak. I think that in Heaven, I will see myself, as I was here, as a lost and hopeless sinner who was given a gift from God that was not deserved. All of my sins will be washed away by His blood and I will only be able to spend eternity with God because of His Grace. Every day, I try to do my best but I often fail because of my sinful nature. I do not judge myself harshly because I know what I am. Just that I have tried to do the right thing gives me confidence. Perhaps you may want to study Judges. The Israelites sinned against God time and again and every time they did, they were forgiven. Such a great testament to the Grace of God! He loves us as much as He loved Israel in Judges.
