Music: All types -- I just completed three of four concerts , including Maurice Duruflé's "Requiem," Lee Dengler's "Agnus Dei," Joseph Martin's "Even The Heavens Are Weeping" from his "Cantata of the Shadows," and Stephen Adams' "The Holy City." So, when I get to Albany, I'll be looking to find a choir and try more new stuff! TV Shows: Law and Order (All of them), The Tudors, Dexter, NASCAR races, Mad Men, JAG, 7th Heaven, Joan of Arcadia, In the Heat of the Night, Movies: The Lion in Winter, Becket, The Godfather -- all Parts, The Winslow Boy, A Man for All Seasons, Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, Bobby, Evita, Braveheart, Henry V (both makes), Emma, Gosford Park, Anne of the Thousand Days, Out of Africa, Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, In the Heat of the Night, The Wizard of Oz (please don't laugh), Gone With the Wind, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Walk the Line, Great Balls of Fire, Mindwalk Books: All types -- currently pawing my way through Blanche Cook's second volume of Eleanor Roosevelt's biography and the works of St. Thomas More. Also the Bible -- NIV Version that I got for confirmation because I can make notes in the margins. I am also reading up on Erasmian humanist philosophy and more of M. Scott Peck on the advice of an EHa friend. Quotes: "There's no sense in asking if the air is good when there is nothing else to breathe." (Henry II to Eleanor of Aquitaine, in response to her asking him if his promises concerning royal succession made to their son, the once-and-future Richard the Lionheart, can be trusted.) More About Me: I am a graduate student at the University of Albany's Communications program. I have one sister, younger and an entrepeneur, and am looking for friends. -
