Hello and Welcome! I like what you said and see that you talk from the heart which is a fine quality that a person can offer in a relationship. I agree with you. I always take the person for who they are on the inside and those qualities will be ones that will last forever. I use to tell my daughters that there are these two men, one is handsome beyond words and the other is not as handsome but more common in his looks. The man that is handsome on the outside is mean on the inside; while the not so handsome man is beautiful on the inside and not much to look at on the outside. Now these two men grow old and get wrinkles. Which one do you want? The man who is ugly on the inside and is now not so good looking on the outside or the man that was not so good looking out the outside all this time, has wrinkles just the same but is wonderful and beautiful still on the inside. I know that this is a long story but one that my daughters always remembered. I am sorry for your loss and know what it is like to lose someone that you love so deeply. I two lost my fiance suddenly two weeks before we were to be married. But the memories are those that I hold very close to my heart. It will now allow me the opportunity to know that if I had someone like him there is another out there who is very similar that is waiting to bring me the same happiness. This I wish for you!
