  • My Favorites

    Music: Very eclectic taste in music! I like everything from pop to jazz to classical to rock to gospel to bluegrass to... I especially enjoy live music involving acoustic guitar and/or piano. Some of my favorite artists include: Sting, Billy Joel, The Eagles, Elton John, John Denver, Bare Naked Ladies, Dave Matthews Band, Sheryl Crow, John Mayer, Jason Mraz, Emmy Lou Harris, Bonnie Rait, and the list goes on! I'm really interested in finding the right song for the right occasion/atmosphere. I'm constantly trying to compose the "soundtrack" for my Life! ;-)
    TV Shows: Seinfeld; Law & Order: SUV; House; "My Name Is Earl"; and College Football, especially if it involves the TN Volunteers!
    Movies: I have a long list of favorites when it comes to movies. Movies are one of my passions! Some examples: "The Mission"; "The Messenger"; "Better Off Dead"; "Airplane"; "The Dead Poet's Society"; "Breakfast at Tiffany's"; "Get Smart"; "Bruce Almighty"; "As Good As It Gets"; "Rain Man"; "Forrest Gump"; etc.
    Books: Overall, I have spent quite a bit of time reading and reflecting on the Bible and biblical commentaries. I enjoy reading non-fiction that covers topics dealing with personalities, relationships, and other dynamics of psychology and sociology. Fiction is what I really seem to connect with, however. I like the classics but some of my more recent favorites include: The DaVinci Code, Wicked, and The Audacity of Hope. Nicholas Sparks usually provides an enjoyable romantic read.
