Believe it or not, I'm a Christian and well educated, got an A in college Logic.. but I kept encountering the number 33 for years til I finally started looking into what meaning it might have from God. Empty Nesters 6 members Open to all

Recently, I sent my last of 4 children off to college. I was a teen mom who married young as well. My children ages are 26, 24, 20, and 19. My marriage of 21 years ended in divorce this year. I turned 40 in June and tend to feel guilty because I have been focusing on and tending to my own needs.

My biggest challenge is adjusting to having the house all to myself. Likewise, adjusting to being single and dating is equally challenging. This group is for people like me to share.

Pushing 40 19 members Open to all

A group for us singles closing in on the 4. 0. and all the changes that come with it. Too old for the bar seen, too young for bingo night. Looking back at where we wanted to be at 40 and whether we are close or getting further away. Also, the differences between dating single parents with teens and college-age kids vs dating single parents with little kids that adjusted more easily to mom/dad and their dating life.

Where is Mr. Right? 74 members Open to all

I am so tired of everyone I know telling me the same two things: " Your young, you have your whole life ahead of you" or "Be patient , a good man will come"
I refuse to believe any of those. I am just 22 yrs old but I have been single for a year and 6 months and I am starting to believe I will be alone forever. Im an attractive african american woman. I have no kids, no drama, I work and attend college full time. Im very independent, smart, caring and goal oriented.. What is the issue??
