Mad Men 2 members Open to all

Talk about Mad Men...fantastic show...particularly about Dan who is the incarnation of the very book that Cooper wants him to read (Atlas Shrugged).

I think this is also similar to House. M.D. where the main character is exemplifying the kind of characteristics it takes to get what you want in this world.

(Same for Jean Luc Picard)

Vancouver Bubble Phenomenon 2 members Open to all

Vancouver, a city of recluse? Does this metropolis lean towards the intimate coffee shop crowd. . . ......the same house party that you have been attending for years. . ...a night out with the same group? (half of them now married to one and other)

Emptynesting it Alone 29 members Open to all

You taught your kids right from wrong. You carted them around and cheered them on at every soccer and baseball game. And the day came when your baby walks across the stage and accepts his diploma and the house becomes eerily quiet. You are starting a new chapter in your life, but who are you, what do you do with all your free time and who can you talk to who will understand unless they have been through it before. Is there any advice for us emptynesting it alone? Let support each other here

German Shepherds Rule 10 members Open to all

For people who love German Shepherds. I have owned a GSD for the last 20 years when my first GSD showed up as a stray in my yard. Ever since I have been hooked on GSD's. They are beautiful, loyal and smart. Easy to train, but a handful when raising a puppy and teaching them house rules. Other dog lovers are welcome.

Relocating-would you yes or no? 5 members Open to all

I was wondering if others felt like I do when meeting someone out of state or better yet out of the country. I have worked very hard since I have been divorced just to start over. I just bought a brand new house & when I meet people that are out of the state-I just get nervouse because I just do not want to move. I guess if the chemestry is right then I would not have a problem moving. Is that a bad thing that you would rather them move to you? Please ease my mind one way or another.
